New containers : Gerber Good Start Gentle, Powder, 12.7-Ounce Cans (Pack of 6)
Because my breastmilk started drying up early on, we had to put our child on formula. We tried Similac and Enfamil. Both seemed to give him bad diarrhea. We even tried soy formulas, but that started to constipate him. When we switched to the Gerber Good Start Gentle, it made a world of difference. If fills him up faster so we get ready less than the other brands. As soon as we switched he started sleeping through the night because it fills him up for longer periods of time. I looked at the ingredients of the Gerber Good Start polite and compared it to the Similac. I was shocked to see that the other brands' first ingredient is Corn Syrup Solids and sugar! The Gerber Good Start Gentle's first ingredient is Whey Protein! I feel so much great feeding our newborn whey protein instead of corn syrup and sugar (junk!). I know each baby is different, but I would recommend this recipe to all mother's just on the ingredients alone.
